When can I start?

We have three start dates each year, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

 You can complete your degree online, but have an opportunity to participate in an optional on-campus immersion so you can engage face-to-face with your faculty and fellow students.*

*For FNP Roles Specialization there are two required hands-on clinical intensives

Master of Science in Nursing

Expand your clinical expertise and career opportunities with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).  At USAHS, you have the choice of four nurse specializations:

Work with patients and families across the lifespan to promote preventative care, diagnose medical conditions, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

Teach nursing students, practicing nurses and other healthcare providers in both academic and real-world settings.

Lead a team of nurses as a manager, director, supervisor, or chief nursing officer.

Oversee healthcare technology systems, communication workflows, and patient data to ensure healthcare quality and safety.

Doctor of Science in Nursing (DNP)

Our clinical-focused DNP program provides you the education and clinical grounding to become a nurse administrator, nurse educator, nurse practitioner, and healthcare innovator. USAHS offers two paths to pursue your DNP:

If you have your MSN, you can now focus on developing the clinical expertise you need to advance your career horizons.

BSN to DNP

If you’re a registered nurse with a BSN degree and wish to accelerate your clinical skills and enhance your career options, you can earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree.
