 Students can complete the MSN program entirely online, giving you the flexibility to study at times that fit your busy schedule.  As a USAHS student, you’ll also have the option of participating in compressed on-campus courses and related extracurricular activities, such as journal clubs, discussion groups, and guest lectures.  In most circumstances, you’ll enjoy the convenience of completing your practicum requirements in your home community, working with your faculty mentor and preceptor.

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) is a graduate institution that offers degree programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, education and health science, as well as continuing education programs. Founded in 1979, USAHS has locations in San Marcos, CaliforniaSt. Augustine, Florida; Austin, Texas; and Miami, Florida. MSN Program Overview

  • The 36-credit program can be completed in two (2) years attending part-time. Students take 26 credits of core coursework and select a specialization for the remaining 12 credit hours.
  • Take the program fully online or as a blended program that incorporates online and on-campus coursework with extracurricular experiences such as journal clubs, discussion groups, and guest speakers.
  • Collaborate in an interprofessional learning environment with students from other health professions.
  • Many students can complete practicum hours in their own community by working with a faculty mentor and preceptor.
  • Learn from faculty who are leaders in their fields, many of whom are currently practicing, presenting original research at major conferences, and publishing articles in respected journals.
  • Benefit from the knowledge and experience of your peers - nurses from across the country participating together in our online classroom.
